Apple Picking in Charlottesville

We went on October 19th to Charlottesville, VA to Carter Mountain Orchards to pick apples. It's now becoming a family tradition each fall. We went last year too but now Amelia could get in on the action as well! The girls loved picking apples, eating apple cider doughnuts (yum!) and seeing all of the pumpkins. Afterward we had lunch in Charlottesville and walked the campus of UVA. We were already picturing taking Bridget on a tour of the campus in about 11 years or so when we start campus tours... oh my goodness we're not ready for that. Good thing we have time. What a beautiful campus and a wonderful family day together.
