We had a blast with our friends at the beach! We dug in the sand and even Amelia loved it as she feel asleep in a beach tent listening to the sound of the water each day. It did get a bit hot at times but we cooled off in the pool and with ice cream. We all went to the annual Fourth of July parade. We learned the lesson that next time we should stand at the beginning of the parade route. By the time they all got to us, all of the floats had run out of candy! Bridget talks about the beach at least once a week still mentions that she wants to go back. Next time, Amelia will be old enough to walk the beach! To crazy to imagine : )
