Welcome Bridget Anne Higgins to the world! She was born at 2:01 pm at 6 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. She was already giving her mommy a run for her money after about 36 hours of labor that ended in a c-section. Mom is recovering well. The experience of seeing her for the first time was like nothing we have ever experienced! We fell in love with her right from the first moment we laid eyes on her and heard her sweet little cry!
After some time visiting with mommy and daddy, Bridget went back to the newborn nursery where she was observed to be having some problems breathing and was taken to the NICU. It was a scary time for mom and dad but thankfully the wonderful doctors and nurses were taking such good care of her!
